Bard on the Beach

Bard on the Beach is a new, exciting and vibrant Shakespeare company, which was formed to fill the gap left by the closing of ‘Shakespeare by the Sea’ (SBTS). Bard on the Beach was created by former actors of Shakespeare by the Sea who believe in entertainment and being true to the Shakespearean language.

PACT

Australia’s original centre for emerging and experimental art.

PACT transforms the Arts by championing contemporary performance, artistic rigour and the freedom to explore the unknown. We achieve this by:

Placing artists in their first five years of professional practice at the centre of everything we do;

Prioritising diversity, inclusion and an open door approach to programming;

Facilitating an artist-led program for the next generation of cultural leaders; and

Operating a unique Sydney venue dedicated to low cost presentation opportunities for independent artists.

The James Theatre is a multi-purpose facility hosting films, live performances, dance and film classes and is available for private functions, weddings, educational purposes and events. It is owned by the Dungog Shire Council and its day to day operation is managed by the James Theatre Committee.
